Tyumen is rightfully considered the oldest city of Siberia.

The first Siberian orthodox temples, telegraph, water tower and railway station appeared here. Tyumen was well-known for its luxuriant merchants’ fairs and their crafts as well as kindness and hospitality of the inhabitants.

During the tour you will visit the place of foundation of the first Russian city in Siberia and the beautiful Siberian stone monastery. You will also have an opportunity to walk along the Tura Riverbank and learn what Tyumen was like from the XVIth to the beginning of the XXth century and why the Tsar street was formerly called Nevsky prospect.
