National Park and Preserve Museum

The National Preserve Museum is located on the bank of Lake Andreyevskoye and represents the unique archeological history of the area.

Its exhibitions show the history of the region from ancient times to the present. Traces of vanished settlements and cities, burials and Mansi tribal sanctuaries of the 9th-13th centuries as well as surviving ornaments and religious objects help to recreate a picture of the traditional way of life of the indigenous people of the North. The exhibition “Throughout the Centuries” is designed as a unique journey and gives you insight into the archeological discoveries of the area including the last traces of the ancient cities and the burial grounds and the sanctuaries of Finno-Ugric peoples. The earliest objects are from the Stone Age and date from the 5th Century, BC. The National Preserve affords a wonderful time to family and friends. Having made this journey through time, you will see the unique displays of the museum, and the Andreyevskoye Lake will make your journey even more picturesque.
