WorldSkills Russia, an Open Regional Championship of Working Professions will be held in Tyumen from 4 to 8 December. 

Participants will make in 34 competencies, including new disciplines: Physical education and sports, Manufacture of furniture, Interior Design, Management of railway transport, etc. 

Currently checked in slightly more than two hundred people from the Tyumen region and neighboring regions. 

The participants of the championship repair cars and agricultural equipment, bake buns and cakes, paint, build, sold, glue wallpapers and etc.

The WorldSkills championship is an event held every two years in member countries of WorldSkills. Contestants from 72 countries are competing in more than 45 different competencies. All contestants under 23 years (with the exception of four competencies that have age limit 25 years). The championship is a multi-faceted event, where heads of state agencies and educational institutions, industry and public organizations are gathering together. It`s a place where they discuss the most important and relevant issues related to professional skills.

Traditionally the event will be held at several venues, including Exhibition hall (12 Sevastopolskay Str) and the Tyumen Technopark (142 Respubliki Str).
